Conditions for the participation in ski and snowboard courses

If a group contains of less than 4 participants, then the number of hours for the courses is reduced in the following way:

• 3 persons: reduction by 17% (30 or 20 minutes, respectively)
• 2 persons: reduction by 33% (1 hour or 40 minutes, respectively)
• 1 person: reduction by 50% (1.5 hours or 1 hour, respectively)

A refund of the course fee, because of injury or illness, is only possible on presentation of a medical certificate. Only unused course days will be refunded.

A refund is not possible, if the participant is not able to attend to the course, because of any other reason than those mentioned in §1.2. Unused course days expire.

The course fee does not include a fee for transportation with the skiing lift facilities.

Courses and private lessons will be held only in the area with facilities operated by the Bayrische Zugspitzbahn AG, i.e. in the winter sport areas called Garmisch-Classic and Zugspitze.

The school provides no compensation for cancelled lessons, which were cancelled because of the following reasons:

• Black-out of the cableways and lift facilities.
• Unexpected shutdowns because of turbulent weather (such as storms).

Should a course or lesson be cancelled because of lack of snow, the fee will be refunded.

We disclaim any liability for injury or material damage, which occur before, during or after lessons. The participants are obligated to make sure to have sufficient insurance coverage prior to attending any course/lesson. The participants are not insured by the organizer.

The participant has to make sure to have available a flawless and correctly adjusted equipment prior to the beginning of a course.

Registrations for courses are not transferable.

The punctual arrival at the meeting point is within the responsibility of the participant. In case of belated arrival at the prearranged meeting point, we cannot guarantee a reintegration to the course.

In case of cancelled courses/lessons due to illness of the responsible teacher or other compelling reasons connected to the organizer, the course fee, or partial fee for unused course days will be refunded. We reject any further claims of compensation.

Beginners, which miss the first course day, have no right to claim further attendance to the course.

Final Provisions

If parts or individual formulations within this text do not comply with the current legal situation, or no longer comply or do not comply in full therewith, this shall not affect the other parts of the document in terms of their content and validity and a provision in accordance with the content shall apply.

Place of jurisdiction is Garmisch-Partenkirchen. German law applies. Contract language is German.
